What
to do in Kas except diving ?
Kas by itself doesn't has sand beaches ( which is the same nearly everywhere in Turkey ) , but several nice swimming & bathing ( for sure : sun-bathing as well ) terraces, which are free of charge. While your kids are having fun in the water, you can enjoy your book, look to the sea and let cold drinks and food directly served to your deckchair.
Using one of the small "taxi boats", you can visit a beautifull beach area, which is reachable by boat only.
Also you can find a small dolphin area in Kas, where it is possible to
swim and snorcel with tame dolphins. Or how about an coast exploration
by sea kayak or paragliding
?
With a rented car, you can discover the area around Kas flexible by yourself,
for example vitis the great "Kaputas" beach or one of the neigbour place
like Kalkan.
Reachable by car as well
: The "Patara Beach" ( biggest sand beach of Turkey and protected area
for sea turtles ), the canyon of Sakklikent or the sunken city of Kekova.
